Day 10 of 40

Final Words from the Mountain

“Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world from everlasting to everlasting you are God.” | PSALM 90:1-2

Today we end our journey with Moses in this excerpt from Climbing Prayer Mountain:

“Moses wrote Psalm 90 as a song for children to sing, a song from the heart of a seasoned Prayer Mountain climber… ‘Lord, you have been our dwelling place…” Even though the Israelites were about to take over the Promised Land and call it their home, in reality their home was in the presence of the LORD. Without His presence, no place on earth could feel like home… I challenge you to hide verse 14 in your heart. Recite it every morning when you first awake. Make it your daily passion in prayer, and you will dwell daily on Prayer Mountain, where your Father lives.”

Be challenged to memorize Psalm 90:14. Read it over and over so that you daily experience the joy and gladness that comes from God’s unfailing love.

Today’s prayer: Father, satisfy me with Your unfailing love.
