Day 35 of 40
The Power of a Praying Church
“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.” | ACTS 12:5
Today’s excerpt from Climbing Prayer Mountain:
“For me, there is no greater joy than to join with other children of God and pray for the impossible to become possible. Knowing we are powerless and must rely on an all-powerful God is the first step to seeing breakthroughs in our prayer life. We are in need of churches today that are willing to hike Prayer Mountain together and pray for God to do the impossible in our day.”
Why did the early church need to be prayer dependent? Are there situations in your church, culture, and world that highlight the need to be prayer dependent?
Today’s prayer: God, help me to gather with other believers and pray for the impossible in our day.
