A Childlike Attitude

“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have not hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to little children…” | LUKE 10:21

Today’s excerpt from Climbing Prayer Mountain:

“You might consider it humbling to become like a baby again. After all, our culture honors self-made giants as our models for success. But this call to become childlike should cause a hallelujah to erupt in our souls! We can stop stressing about making things happen on our own. Instead, we need only to cry out to God in dependence, knowing He is the one who runs the universe.”

We are reminded that complete dependence on God is very contrary to the way our culture functions. Are there specific ways you can learn to become like a “little child” again in your prayer life?
