Today’s excerpt from Climbing Prayer Mountain:

“Our daily prayer of confession- and trust in complete forgiveness- frees our souls to forgive others with the mercy and grace given us by Jesus. If our daily prayers for personal forgiveness are planted at the foot of the cross, then the Holy Spirit can flood our hearts with the love needed to forgive others.”

What holds you back from an honest confession of your sin? Today, spend some time asking the Holy Spirit to reveal anyone you are bitter towards that you need to forgive.

Today’s prayer: Father, flood my heart with Your love so that I can have the courage to forgive those who have hurt me.
