Come Holy Spirit Feed Me
“Give us today our daily bread.” | MATTHEW 6:11
Today’s excerpt from Climbing Prayer Mountain:
“There is the second truth I’ve learned from this prayer. The mystery ‘bread’ that we need daily, and we need to ask for audaciously, is the Holy Spirit. We need the daily filling of the Holy Spirit to know and follow Jesus. Jesus, through the Spirit, brings us into the presence of the Father where we are saturated with love and empowered to do His will.”
Jesus reminds us to call out to God daily. Why do we need the daily gift of the Holy Spirit to live into all of the Lord’s Prayer?
Today’s prayer: God, fill me to overflowing with the Holy Spirit today.
