Day 34 of 40
Prayer and Divine Appointments
“About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.” | ACTS 10:9
Today’s excerpt from Climbing Prayer Mountain:
“When the Father’s children climb Prayer Mountain and listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, divine appointments will follow that will bring about God-sized movements, which will glorify His name alone. Read the book of Acts, and you will see over and over again the church grew out of prayer, which led to divine appointments where no man or ministry could take the credit.”
Have you encountered a divine appointment recently? Do you think the church should depend on the divine appointments birthed in prayer for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Why or why not?
Today’s prayer: God, I pray that you would bring a divine appointment to me today.
