Day 5 of 40
Play Your Tambourine
“I will sing to the LORD for He is highly exalted. The horse and hits rider He has hurled into the sea.” | EXODUS 15:1
Today’s excerpt from Climbing Prayer Mountain:
“In Exodus 15, Moses and his sister Miriam, sing, shake the tambourine, and dance before the Lord. It is their response to their salvation from the bondage in Egypt and the destruction of Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea. Moses teaches us that Prayer Mountain is a place saturated with praise and worship. One of the greatest ways to open up the heavens and experience the presence of God is to sing, dance, shout, or play whatever instrument you are able; joyfully praising God for his gift of salvation, given to you through His Son… Join the throngs o the redeemed in offering up heartfelt worship to your good, good Father.”
What are some practical ways you can turn your prayer times into worship encounters that open the gates of heaven?
Today’s Prayer: Father, in light of Your great love and faithfulness towards me, help me to bring you unhindered praise today.
